STORY
Valene, the visionary behind Paw & Palm, embarked on her journey with pets in 2005 as a vet technician and later as a veterinarian hospital manager. Her academic pursuits led her to earn a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences and a Masters in Business Administration in Healthcare Management. Over the next 12 years, she played a pivotal role in leading operations and building hospitals, healthcare centers, and veterinary clinics nationwide. In 2022, Valene departed from the corporate world to establish her own solo, female-run business, specializing in pet care in central Seattle. She is the happiest she has ever been!
Utilizing her extensive background in multi-site management, Valene founded a startup with a specific focus on servicing apartment communities. Paw & Palm partners with apartment management to craft a tailored and efficient pet care experience for both residents and apartment staff. The same meticulous attention to detail is extended to single family homes, showcasing our dedication to comprehensive pet care services.
Paw & Palm operates on the fundamental philosophy of delivering mindful care during every interaction with your pets. To guarantee absolute presence during dog walks and drop-in visits, we implemented a no cell phone or earphone policy. This ensures our team is fully engaged providing undivided attention for a genuine connection.
